What do these TEFL jobs in Dominican Republic involve?

This volunteering position offers an amazing chance to experience Caribbean culture while improving the future prospects of many young people. The tourist infrastructure also ensures there will be plenty for you to do and see in your time in the Dominican Republic.
You would be based at a Christian school on the north coast of the country which is running a bilingual project in the 2011-2012 school year. This school is based in a tourist area and, as such, understands the value of having English as a second language. Working with children from pre-school age to middle school, you would be supporting the school in teaching English, other subjects as appropriate, and tutoring pupils.
The school will provide housing and two meals each day, as well as transportation and communication support. In return, they are looking for volunteers with a positive attitude who can adapt to simple living conditions.

- Native English speaker needed? No
- University degree needed? No
- Other requirements: Any qualifications in other subjects an advantage.
