TEFL course for jobs abroad
Social Responsibility
Giving something back is something TEFL England strongly believes in so part of the fee you pay when you start a course with us will go towards helping others in need. You can find out more about where your money goes below.
Malaika Africa
Malaika Africa is a charity which relies on donations from individuals and companies. Its main aim is to help provide children in Mirerani, a Tanzanian mining community, with an education. The charity plans to build a school in the area and if you would like to help out you can ‘sponsor a brick’ for £2 to help them reach their goal. TEFL England has pledged money for purchasing materials for the school library and looks forward to having further involvement with the Malaika Africa.

TEFL weekend and weekday courses
In the UK
TEFL England also believes that it is important to support education here in the UK. Sandra Campbell and Anne Davies are two women from Aberdeen who started giving free lessons to local immigrants this year. In November 2009, they sat a 20-hour weekend course and then started teaching in January 2010. TEFL England now supports them by donating teaching materials to help with their classes.
Carbon Footprint
We’re very aware of our carbon footprint and all of our suppliers are local and when you complete a course with TEFL England you will receive a certificate printed on recycled paper. We also make sure that paper in the office goes into the recycle bin rather than the regular bin! We are always trying to find other ways to become more eco-friendly so any suggestion are welcome!
