One of our most popular TEFL jobs, we recruit year round for TEFL qualified teachers to teach English in Spain. You can earn an excellent salary working in professionally managed language schools. In these TEFL jobs, you would be teaching English to a range of clients, from business executives to university students, in small classes, normally with a maximum of five students.
The only requirement for these positions is a 20-hour TEFL England certificate, making this a perfect first TEFL job for a new teacher. After making a successful application, you attend an extended interview/training period in Madrid where you will learn the company teaching approach and familiarise yourself with the company materials.
Vacancies are available around Spain, particularly in the major cities. The option to move city every 2 – 3 months exists for teachers who wish to travel around Spain!
Teaching English in Spain - Overview
Salary: Dependent on any prior experience and number of hours worked
Hours: Most teachers work 30-40 hours a week. Part-time work, with a minimum of 25 hours, is also available.
