TEFL Jobs in France

Requirements:
Native English speaker
Able to work in France
TEFL England certificate
Experience with young children, e.g. babysitting

TEFL England is currently recruiting for TEFL jobs in France.

France is one of the most desired locations for our TEFL graduates and it’s easy to see why. It’s a country of rich history, art and culture, not to mention an unmistakable chic style. Many English speakers dream of strolling down quaint boulevards to little cafes where they can sit and watch the world go by.

These TEFL jobs in France are in some of the most desirable cities the country has to offer. The sights of Paris are famous throughout the world, meaning working here would be an unforgettable experience. Jobs are also available in Bordeaux, a “city of art and culture” in the famous wine region and the port city of Nantes, with beautiful churches, museums and buzzing festivals. You could also work in the freshly regenerated Lille, a friendly place with excellent nightlife, while shops and restaurants in the prosperous city of Lyon offer a touch of French chic if you choose to work there.

Rather than working in a traditional language school situation, these positions offer an interesting mix of childcare and education. You will be caring for young children, engaging in play activities with educational content to help them learn English from an early age. You don’t need to speak any French and these opportunities will give you a chance to experience French culture and family life first hand while improving your ability in French. Experience of working with young children in a teaching or babysitting context is desirable. You must enjoy spending time with children!

This is part-time work, usually in after school hours from 4:30pm and can be up to 25 hours per week. This means you have plenty of time for studying or other work opportunities and these positions would likely combine quite well with private English tutoring.
