TEFL jobs in Italy are highly coveted when they arise, but offer the unforgettable experience of working in this friendly and exciting country.
These TEFL jobs in Italy are based in the city of Milan. Famous for sights such as the Duomo and the San Siro stadium, Milan is the Italian business hub, complete with a real cosmopolitan feel. Though it has many fascinating historical and cultural attractions, it is probably the most modern of Italian cities. Milan itself has a unique atmosphere and much to explore, but is also perfectly situated for exploring other parts of Italy, such as Lake Como or Oltrepo Pavese wine region. If you enjoy fashion, football, nightlife, or high culture, Milan has something to interest you.
You would be working for a school that aims to teach English to a high standard through individual lessons and or in small groups. As such, they are looking for someone who is youthful and enthusiastic, as well as punctual, responsible and reliable. The school runs English lessons for children, teenagers and adults. They specialise in English lessons at a student’s home or office. Clients are all based in the centre of Milan, with each teacher covering a certain area allowing for lessons to be within easy walking distance of one another.

Classes run Monday to Friday during the morning and afternoon, usually with adult and occasionally kindergarten lessons in the morning and children’s lessons from 3pm onwards. To ensure quality of teaching, new teachers undergo additional training with an expert tutor, and teachers have plenty of support afterwards. Materials are provided and resources are continually updated.
These positions are full-time and have a contract for one academic year, from October 2011 to the end of May 2012.
