TEFL Jobs in Japan
Mount Fuji is the iconic landmark of Japan and it has many things in common with the nation itself: beautiful, symbolic, aesthetically pleasing and with a fiery heart that burns beneath the calm surface.
The Japanese obsession with cleanliness means that the streets sparkle from the almost 24 hour programme of sweeping and polishing. Even the Subways are kept to a very high standard, meaning that Japan is a pleasant and calming place in which to live.
With over 3000 islands and 200 volcanos, the ecology is active and exciting holding the promise of interesting day trips.
Although we recommend 100 hours of TEFL training, Japan is one of the few countries that is more flexible in its requirements – in some instances a 20 hour TEFL England certificate may be enough to secure a job. You will need a degree for entry requirements though. Find out more: TEFL in Japan - Paperwork & Documentation
