Spain is an immensely popular destination, with many expats wanting to earn money with English teaching and others attracted by the warmer climate, wonderful culture and quality of life on offer. Spain offers all of the fun of experiencing another culture, but is still close to home and, as an EU member, has little in the way of working restrictions for UK natives. Plenty of TEFL jobs are available to native speakers who fancy a life of sun, sea and sangria, with many, like these TEFL jobs, requiring only a basic TEFL England certificate.
These TEFL jobs in Spain are based in the town of Puente Genil in the Cordoba Province. Cordoba is in the south of Spain, not too far from the famous beaches of the Costa Del Sol, so you can spend your weekends soaking up the sun on the coast of the Mediterranean! There’s plenty to do closer to home too - Puente Genil is the farming centre of the local area, with lots of authentic Spanish culture such as the fascinating traditional processions of Holy Week. It offers historical buildings, plenty of shops and amenities, and scrumptious Spanish cuisine, with particular fame for dishes based on local quince!
You would be teaching at a private academy in the town, with classes of infants, teenagers and adults of varying abilities. The academy is exceptionally well-equipped, with interactive boards in classrooms and laptops for students, so you should be able to deal with technologies. This school offers a fabulous working environment and would be an excellent opportunity to gain experience as an English teacher while enjoying life in Spain.

Hours: 25 teaching hours per week
