Experience the friendly local culture and stunning landscape of Nakon Si Thammarat, the fourth largest city in Thailand. It has an excellent transportation network making it ideal as a central point for your adventures. The area of Nakon Si Thammarat itself is predominantly mountainous with substantial forest areas, including the breath-taking Khao Luang National Park. Beach lovers are in for a treat too. The coastline boasts stunning undeveloped beaches with plenty of attractive coastal villages. The region is famed for both Thai nang tàlung (shadow play) and lákhon (Thai classical dance-drama) art forms which were developed in Nakhon. See a performance of Thai nang tàlung while you’re here to really appreciate the culture and arts of this area.
